What to Expect During Your First Visit to Robinson Dental

We believe that the new patient exam is one of the most important processes in our practice, and we want to make a great first impression on you! If you want to learn what to expect as a new patient at Robinson Dental, expect that we will care for you as if you were a guest in our hotel. Our dentists and our staff strive to establish and keep long-lasting, positive relationships with all our patients.

The dentists and staff will take the time necessary to meet your individual dental care needs and make special arrangements for you. Whether you need longer appointments, nitrous oxide ("laughing gas" - can be used for more anxious patients), or anything else we will try to accommodate you. You will always be treated with politeness and respect.

On your first visit, we will begin by processing your new patient forms. We have them available for download on this page of the website so that you can fill them out in advance and send them to us by mail or email. This saves everyone a lot of time.

Next, we will gather diagnostic information in the form of X-rays, a comprehensive examination and, if needed, some models of your teeth. You will be digitally charted into our computer database to become an active patient.

Most of the time, we are able to clean your teeth on your first visit, but not always. If it has been years since your last cleaning, we may require more time by way of a dedicated appointment just for the cleaning.
